offspring's new single, "You're Gonna Go Far Kid"

The Offspring have revealed the details for "You're Gonna Go Far Kid", the second single off their latest album "Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace".

The release will be available as a maxi-CD in two versions, with different track listings, according to a webshop. The first version will feature a live version of "You're Gonna Go Far Kid", while the other version will contain live versions of "Hammerhead" and "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" as well as an edited version of the song. The cover for the single has been posted online, you can check it out here.

"You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" has been successful on US rock radio stations, reaching the top of the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. This is the third song by The Offspring to hit #1 on that chart (the first being their signature song "Come Out And Play", followed by "Hit That").

The Offspring have been touring randomly in support of their new album. Rumors persist that the band will be on the road in the U.S. next year.
